Commonwealth School Film Festival 2009

My wonderful high school is hosting a film festival this coming weekend.
The award-winning documentary "Beyond Belief" which features my music will be screening along with many, many films created by my fellow alums.

Principle Pictures goes on the road

My friends and collaborators at Principle Pictures left on Monday August 3 on a whirlwind tour of the middle east. They are collecting footage for their new film "The Promise of Freedom" which is currently in production and for which I will be making the score.

Principle Pictures received major funding to complete this new film from ITVS. Very exciting!

Music at the Rhode Island Film Festival 2008

Today I received exciting news from director Michele Meek.

Her short film Red Sneakers, which I composed the music for, will be screened at the Rhode Island Film Festival this summer.

Here's a little taste of the MUSIC from the score if you're interested.

I composed this piece back in December of 2007. I imagined children skipping and playing on a gentle spring day to inspire the flow and melody of the music.

I am looking forward to Spring here in New England.
